Have any of you fellow LLM's ever notices that you yourself (the manager) makes an average of 300$ (pounds, sorry I'm a silly American) per week.

I'm not sure if this is true but if that amount gets factored into the wage bill like the rest of the staff's does shouldn't I have an option to lower my own wages? I mean I'm a nice guy and would be willing to take a hit for the team by taking a pay cut in order to please the chairman. It's not like my part time job of living in the real world is leaving me with no options but to ask for crazy money in CM4

What do you all think? Would that take the realism away or increase it? If I'm asking my players to take a pay cut why can't I?

It would be a nice option but SI seem set against negotiable manager contracts as such

Suggest this in the ideas forum!!

You could improve morale by taking a pay cut to stay at the club when things go pear-shaped on the financial side, and increase the chances that your players will follow suit.

Alan Pardew did it, not that Reading are LLM, so there is a precedent.

I think that idea is great.

Also it would be fun to have discipline manager, where you could fine yourself for every stupid mistake that you made. This should also increase a morale and happines of players.

Followed by the "Chairman "insert name" could not hide his delight after manager "insert name" asked for a pay cut in response to the club's poor financial situation" news item!
