I trust all LLaMas who are want to reply to this thread will understand that any discussion of training regimes will result in a situation no-one will feel comfortable with?

Ditto. Really, training is too much hassle for the very small benefit it brings.
What everybody else said. And this is sad, because a well balanced training could make quite a big difference for a LL club where players tend to be not that spoiled yet and actually do what they are told.
So far I don't think it really makes a noticable difference, so I just ignore it for the most part. Maybe it will be tweaked a little, but even then I would at least need more feedback about what effects the training is having, the comments you get from your staff right now are laughable.
I agree, training is very important, especially in terms of fitness and motivation. It is indeed possible for Lower League players to reach 4 or 5 stars, this is only a reflextion on how well they are training, everything is relative. An average player like Player X can put 100% into training and still be worse (in terms of attributes) than an good player like Player Y.
My only problem with training is the lack of evening slots and the fact that part time players still train full time.
No player naming please

The way I look at it, the training regime has been set up to work correctly only when you have a bucket load of coaches dedicated to each of the positions.
So unless you hire a large quantity of coaches you are not going to get the full benifit out of training. This in itself is not realistic for LL clubs as they don't have the budget to accomidate a large backroom staff. If you have a look at the number of staff presently at LL clubs you might find three coaches, if you are lucky. It is only when you get to the higher divisions that coaching numbers are 5+. I did have a list of average number coaches from Conference through to PL, but it went missing.
I set up a regime like LFCfan that works (kind of) using a small number of coaches. It is a bit of hit & miss and the arrows do go up and down each week. I don't know if that is due to the small number of coaches; the poor quality of the players; a bug in the training area of CM4 or a combination of all of above.
Now fellas, don't talk about bugs. Refer to it as unknown or unexplained features
I tried to tweak the training, but find out that it does good for a short while, then it became major shyte.
And I agree with you about feedback. It should be more aprehensive, so you would know what the hell you are doing
