6-0 away to Man Utd is also my worst cup effort. Mind you we were newly promoted to D3 at the time

8-0 by Man U with Halesowen, FA cup 3rd round. Man U had won 7 straight titles and Halsowen had just escaped relegation from the conference

Mind you, 6-0 isn't an uncommon defeat for me.

I've lost 5-0 away to Man Utd. At least half of their team were reserve and youth players. I was down 4-0 at the half. They then replaced their youth players with even younger ones.

Speaking of this, I wonder how often an upset happens. I'm not encouraging bragging, but I'm really curious. That's because before I turned to LLM, I used to manage big teams and it seemed to me that cup matches with lower league teams were real banana skins. I lost some of them in unbelievable circumstances. But now I'm working with an LLM team, and where are those miracles? (To be fair, my LLM career is not that long and my team has so far encountered only two PL teams. The other one was Newcastle where I lost 3-1 but the scoreline flattered me).

IIRC, with Arbroath I lost 5-0 to Rangers. And we were actually pretty even with them for about the first hour. :/

Biggest ever CM defeat was in CM3, my very first game: Forest 0-8 Liverpool. I don't think I tried CM again for 3 months.

On the flip side, my greatest CM glory was with Albion Rovers putting Celtic out of the Scottish Cup.
