I always, always make three substitutions. I'm sure that if I don't, someone will trip, fall and break a bone or two and that I will curse myself for the next five months (the time of his recovery) because I could and should have subbed him. Or anyone.
I never save the game just before playing a match. I'm sure Frank's spirit will punish me for even allowing myself the theoretical possibility to cheat. Not that I would, mind yous.
always always save ur game before a match...helps when the comp crashes. i even back my save games up in my documents once a day. Seriously though, i heard somewhere that clicking the other teams tactics button when they are attacking stops their attack pretty quick so you should probably be careful where you click if you dont want top accidentaly cheat...at least until the next patch
Let me see.
My playing of CM includes:
- after match interviews in my mind
- yelling at stupidity of players
- always placing the mouse cursor in the direction of the oponent (not in 2D), since this means, that I will have more chances than they. (Yeah right)
- I never substitute a captain, because I know it is a tough world out there
- I always hope that the substitution will play better than first teamer.
- I get ****ed off if someone is standing next to me, while I play, since they bring bad luck to my squad.
This is about it. If I remember anything else, I will let you know.
my faith in certain strikers borders on the superstitious. with an average return of about 4 goals a season, i still can't sub a striker i'm sure is actually great, just in case this is one of the few matches he was destined to score in.
Strangley enough GoG, I do exactly the opposite! I will only ever turn the game off after a loss (or very, very disappoining draw). I generally dont like the thought of quitting half way through I good run of form.
The only other real superstition I have is to always put my can/cup on the right hand side of the monitor, despite being left-handed, and despite having more room on the left of my desk. Its only ever when I play CM mind. Dates back to multiplayer game on CM97/98. Cant remember exactly why though.
