I never ever save or stop playing if I am having a good run. I'm sure when my PC is off my players all go out on the town get drunk and have all got hang overs when I start again. Like Iaj my wife just loves this excuse.

I play my best sessions on sick days from work. I firmly believe that if a good run is needed or you've just qualified for Europe for the first time, you should run around in the rain, catch a cold and stay in for a few days.

Or you could just have a sickie, but that's easier for some than others

My only superstition is to not watch the main commentary screen whilst we're sitting on a lead away from home, I don't like to see how badly we're being hammered and if I'm not watching they can't score right.

It actally helps me if I have trouble going to sleep. I play over an imaginary interview in my head. Five minutes later I am dead to the world.

I don't know what that means but it can't be good.
