Don't you think we need to allow ourselves that? Most people here choose not to venture into GQ for very good reasons.

Most of the time you can start a GQish thread in here and actually get some decent responses.

I know this is a little bit of pot & kettle, but I'm allowed to change my opinion over time, surely :cool:

I think it was basically put in the game to flower it up , and more effort should of been put into making a game that runs at a decent speed, has Scouting that an LLM Manager can use and is really addictive and by just having commentry leaves it up to your imagination to decide exactly what is going on, on the pitch.

You can see the tactic working or failing quite clearly, and judging from the commentary that goes along with the 2D you got to wonder how accurate the commentary in CM3 is, because the CM4 commentary is ludicrous.

"He should have buried it" when a player tried a feeble 35 yard effort or had no chance whatsoever from that angle, goalies are "poorly positioned" when in fact they made a brilliant save first and left an unfortunate rebound, and there's no mention of those defenders who were sleeping to allow the chance in the first place.

No, if I were to go from the commentary in CM4 I'd make poor decisions all the time and it makes me wonder if I didn't do just that in CM3 and just never knew. So yeah, you can use your imagination, but what if that doesn't resemble at all what's going on the pitch?

Paul- how many matches are you able to play watching the full match? I also view full match and average about one game each evening after work. (Or until the baby needs changing )
