I agree with Iajafer, though i didn't really do that well with my conference team.

The biggest thing i miss about CM3 is the scouts finding you a 17 y/o which you know can be the next big thing.

I don't see why you couldn't have that bittersweet feeling with CM4. It probably takes a lot longer to get there, but it could leave you with an even greater feeling of accomplishment.

To be honest, I haven't played more than 3 seasons with any CM4 game yet before starting over (I mean rebeginning), so I really wouldn't know. It just seems like it should be possible. None of the (truly annoying) bugs so far have been real showstoppers to me. I don't know if I'm just an overly optimistic person or a masochist.

Is it that Liverpool side you once managed

Seriously the the thing i miss most about CM3 is the ability to win away from home, I just haven't been able to get the hang of it in CM4

I think one of the main reasons I'm not at ease with CM4 is that it looks like a game. Aesthetically it looks like a glorified "Sensible Soccer". Skinning may light some guys' fire but it means nothing to me.

Craig gave me a file with all the Club Crests and Competition Badges, and I joined the CM Skins site and downloaded a few, and it looks nice. But that's it. It looks nice.

Obviously I'll never experience the joy of playing my first CM, CM2, again, but CM3 ran it close. Right from the first issue, warts and all.

I can't play in windowed mode unless I buy another monitor. I can't start the game without a Copyright Protection busting patch from SI. I can't run all the Leagues...ever. The PC doesn't exist that will do that. I can cook a decent three course meal in the time it takes to update between game days.

I could go on.

No amount of Club crests or pretty skins will make up for the gameplay missing from the CM3 incarnation, or especially the slothful pace of the game.

Maybe next release.

That said, I'm happy to be playing 01/02. I can wait for the next release

I miss getting to watch FA Cup draws as they're made - and being desperate for a big team away.

And I miss unsigned youth players.

To be on-topic again...
I would rather see CM4 in 800x600 resolution, with plain UI. Not that XML. I have to work with it at work, and I tell you it sucks arse. It makes everything run much slower. Not to mention that stupid and unuseful news ticker. Oh yes, and what bothers me is, that the game does not stop when news arrive, unless you click your left mouse button like a mad man.
I just don't seem to understand. OK, so maby CM3 did not have so much players, but just upgrading the quantity of players and leagues, should not cause this computer specs. I mean, the game sistem stayed almost the same (with few new features), so there is really no need for specs that are unreachable for a reasonable amount of money.
I wrote this 1000 times: "I blame XML"
