I'm starting a new game cause this computer really isn't cut out for a large database. So I click on that link in the header to randomly select a club ...
Well, EP4 should be out in the next fortnight, so I'll do the FV thing until then.
Then I'll be starting the EP4 game with the same team as my last game (Yeovil) because I feel taking on a different conference side would be tantamount to cheating, seeing as I have intimate knowledge of Yeovil's strengths & weaknesses. Your thoughts?
Oh yeah. I forgot about the somewhat randomised database. Like an M C in one game will be an M LC in another. (Haven't played any CM version for over a year).
Starting with the same team would be more advantageous actually as it's easy to mix up knowledge from the prior game, i.e. you tend to recognize your previous signings, already know if some player is a real git, or who won't mind being retrained from FR to DL. When I start over I usually choose a new team (there has been the occasional exception).
Sure, but you tend to need the same kind of players and you know who fits in. But what I really mean is that for me at least these games tend to become a mirrorimage of the previous games where I'm tempted to repeat the things that worked before. It's not a huge problem really, I just like to avoid these deja vu moments.
