I seem to disagree with nearly ever word in you post Klinsmann!
1. Limited transfer budget per season, hence more realistic - Happened in CM3
2. Receivership tends to happen more often - True.
3. non-perfect 2-D machine (still good enough for tactic maniacs like me) - 2D engine confuses tactics if anything, mainly because it's completely fecked. Try changing from Zonal to Man Marking and see the difference (ie feck all).
4. more transfer options - true, but the offering to other clubs sucks, and who has ever bought a first option on a player?
5. more contract options - %age increase on wages woohoo!
6. more leagues - this more leagues thing is a big SI con - out of 10 games how many will you be playing in the Slovakian league or whatever?
7. Filter no longer uses 'Interested', but uses 'Assistant manager's choice' instead, so not all players found after filtering are interested - It's meant to be the Assistant filtering out players who wouldn't join, so basically it's exactly the same thing. oh and (surprise) it doesnt work.
8. More reasons for players to be unhappy about - yep but a minor thing.

If I had a 2D representation of the game I would expect to see man-marking defenders following their man about the pitch (within reason), and zonal marking defenders marking anyone who came into their area of the pitch.
With the textual representation you can only "know" so much, but I always feel relatively comfortable that what I've asked of my players is being done to the best of their abililty. Reb's point is that the 2D seems to count for very little, tactically.
For me the attractiveness of LLM is that I actually support a team out of the conference & have done since I was about 10 so I love mangaing them & seeing just how far I can take them...

But what, if anything, has CM4 added to your experience?
I hear what your saying Mkus but you have to agree that even if atm the bugs in CM4 make LLM really tricky...the potential the game has in incredible....
When these bugs have been sorted IMO we will have a stonker on our hands...
Rek hits it on the head...bugs, particularly the scouting issue makes LLM, for me, unnatractive. What do you do when your scouts are either inactive, or cant pick up youth players and you want to boost your squad, particularly when your account is empty and have no money for trasnfers? Turn to the quick search screen? I think not. Been brought up many times but hey, thats my veiw on why LLM is not right in CM4.

Many many people are saying this, but most of them also agree that in it's present form the game is near unplayable LLM style (there are a couple of people here that do though...)
Its crap to think that after so many enhancement packs that we will finally get a 'stonker'. The major issues should have been really sorted out before release. TCM was a prime example.
Whilst I got impatient waiting for it to be released, I would have rather have waited personally to have them sort the whole mess out rather than rushing it out. TBH, when EP4 is out, I dont think I will bother downloading it. I have no interest in CM4 whatsover at the moment, which is sad given how much I was looking forward to it.
