I am updating the database for 2004 and have all teams done except for confernce, I have moved Yeovil Town and Doncaster Rovers to 3rd div just don't know where to send nuneaton, southport and kettering. What is the next one down (sorry but I live in Australia and before people tell me too look it up myself I have tried )

Also i was wondering why is it only two teams are promoted and 3 relegated and does anyone know who the 3 or is it 2 teams that got promoted into the confernce (also Mods please don't close this like you have my prevous posts, as I am unsure where this post should go).

Any help would be appreciated.

There are three leagues at the level just below the conference. They are the Ryman, Dr. Martens, and UniBond Premier leagues. They should be listed in the game as Ryman Premier, Dr. Martens Premier, etc. Each of these leagues sends its champion up to the Conference for promotion.

Many many many thanks dude, just so i finally get it I am looking for the winner of their league so in actual fact you get 3 teams from 3 different leagues going into the conference, why are only two relegated from the conf if 3 come in wouldn't that eventually increase numbers in confernce each year, so is it 2 or 3 teams that get promoted from conf to english 3rd div? again sorry for asking so many questions just trying to understand how it all works, many thanks mate

btw you wouldn't know the three teams going into confernce for 2004?

Jeez that was difficult, you guys (England) have more leagues than we have flies , all joking aside I managed to figure it out please correct me if I am wrong:-

Conference Promoted :-

Yeovil Town

3 teams promoted into confernce for 2004 are :-

Tamworth
Aldershot Town
Accrington stanley
(again I hope I got this right took ages to find info on internet)

Another reason to look forward to CM4 04/05 It could have greater scope for English LLM and it may even work

Well guys don't get me wrong I apprecaite what you are all saying but I guess I just wanted to reflect the MAJOR changes for 2004, but anyways bad news I spent ages changing teams and it seemed to save okay. I went to start new game no England gone! so I had to un-install and re-install, I was so careful to but the game didn't agree and left out the England leagues, so at the end of the day it doesn't pay to edit any aspect of the game.

As most of you know I am a regular been here for years and guess I was hoping to keep cm4 "current". Anyways will just wait and see what future plans SI have for cm4 or mabye even a new championship manager (dare I say it 5). I suspose one good thing came from this I learn't alot more about English Soccer and al the different leagues you guys have, here in Australia we have a great youth setup lots of teams but thats when the wheels fall off, we loose all our talent to Europe (not that I am complaining). Anyways thanks again, just curious are the lower leauges considered professional (and sorry not meaning to offend).

Over here we have grades (or used to) and A grade is like the top before I guess a player becomes a professional ie Brisbane Strikers etc... cheers

p.s. thats the last time I will be playing around with an editor I seem to have no luck with them
