This has all the potential to degenerate into a bragging thread, but I'll play along.
My Monaco side recently beat Clermont 2-1 in a cup match. Big deal you say, especially when I tell you we were at home and in the top division, while Clermont is a Div. 2 side.
Ah, but history comes into play here. Their coach was almost one of my former players. 25 years ago I signed him for St. Etienne in my first season there. He was going to be the next big thing at the club and lead them back to their glory days. Well, I left the club before he joined, but this youngster captained them to the 2008 title and even played for France in the process.
Mine is after successive promotions to get Dag & Red to seventh in Division two and then getting sacked. I know this ain't great but then watching a former tottenham and England manager struggle at 20th place in the next season after they sacked me for not winning Div 2.
