There has already been discussion of this in a recent topic on the issue. There ARE some elements of CM4 that seem to make LLM easier. It is much easier to loan quality players, even from foreign leagues. That is one factor, and there are a few others. Have a look at the other recent topics and look for one called "Too Easy" or something of the sort.

In the several years I've been about this board, I've noticed that there's normally definite reasons for asking "Is...easy?"

There's the guy introducing himself as a "self-effacing" CM God, then there's the guy who's taking the pÃ*ss, then again there's the guy who thinks that we're crap at the game because we enjoy LLM and don't pillory fellas for doing badly and wants to tell us how to win.

I've not pigeon-holed you yet, Klinsmann. The Threads started with titles containing ...'s are mightily annoying, but we'll see where you're heading to.

It may seem that way, and I agree that Division 3 is a walk in the park once you gained promotion from the conference (which didn't come that easy for me). And I noticed that for AI-controlled teams as well, quite a few of them gain promotion from Division 3 the very first season. Usually in Division 2 the tides turn and it becomes a real challenge.

I don't know what the reason is, maybe the player data isn't quite as balanced as it was in previous versions - or maybe Divison 3 is just utter crap in real life as well. They used to try hard to keep out Conference teams for a reason.

erm.... dont 4 teams get promoted every season??

oh. you mean they get promoted from conference to div 2 in consecetive seasons. I get it.

I must be the only person who finds LLM/ Crap Mangement harder in CM4 (with Rekwobs self imposed no big loan players rules). Whereas in CM3, you were able to run up huge debts without consequence, now bankrupt teams have their squads sold off.

Managing a team like Oxford was basically a doddle in CM01-02 - now it's v v hard not to go into administration before the end of season 1.
