Hi,

Not sure if there are any relevant threads on this already although i have checked and couldn't find anything.

Basically, i load a game, play as normal. I can then save the game and exit as normal. The problem occurs when i then try to re-load the game. All my toolbars at the top dissapear and all the lest hand menu's are gone.

One thing i did notice is when i load the game, underneath 'Football Manager' at the top, it says '-1' when normally it would have a version, i.e. 8.0.1.

When i reload and the toolbars are missing, it just seems to have 10 random numbers like '2356936262' where the '-1' previously was.

Very frustrating.

I have bought a new disc and the same thing happens. I have also completely wiped the game from my Laptop and reloaded it and still the same things happen.

I currently have Windows Vista.

If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated as i can't play the game!!!

What skin are you using? The default? If so, I have no idea.

Using default skin.

When i do reload the game, i noticed that a message comes up on my desktop telling me that Windows Vista is changing back to normal colour or something along those lines.

What’s your screen resolution might be worth trying to change that and see what happens.

I don’t have Vista myself but I am aware so many people having problems with the operating system.

I wonder how the Microsoft Forums are doing, must be loads of threads relating to compatibility, bugs, issues.

You see not all application, software are problem free.
