I've played this game forever. From day one, always been addicted to this game. But recent versions have become more n more buggier, silly little problems here n there, ruining the initial game experience.
What I don't understand is, basically, SI have a year to work on the CODE of the game. Not the database, they are just numbers stored with stats of the players and club info. I cant understand why they have such a problem, creating a piece of software, that just have to use the database, and do its bit of magic to what makes the game.
To me, they've had 2 years for this version of the game, as it is very similar to the previous version. What I suspect, and of course they won't admit to, they are working on a complete new code for 09, and basically had to do a rush job on 08, just to get that yearly surge in funding.
I enjoy FM, but do not think this one is a good enough update. Should have been released as a £10 update disk, instead of a full price game. Very disappointed SI with your latest attempt im afraid. Hopefully you guys will remedy the situation....
