I have Lulinha, an AMC but i wanna reetrain him to a natural MC.

I have been into training but cant see how to do it.

Can somebody post me an idiots guide?

Click on the player.
Look for the training overview.
You will see the tab for "new position"
Hope this helps

Click training on the left
At the top should be a list of things including a retrain position drop down box
Click which one you want

u hv to leave te retrain position settings there all the time. even after his position change from this to tt. if not he will be untrain

Just saying but usually an AMC will be 'Accomplished' as an MC.

Not true.

But if a player is both an MC and an AMC, only the AMC will be listed as his position in the game.

So if you try to retrain some AMCs, you will not see MC as an option. It's because of the above reason. Same applies to MR/AMR and ML/AML.

I've found that in FM08 you don't need to retrain players in that way, which i presume would slow their increase of stats.

All you need to do is play him in that position quite regularly, and he will soon become accomplished. Happened with Dos Santos in AMR for me.

No need to ruin his training schedule at all

It's no big deal. The way you wrote it made it seem like you meant that it's automatic that an AMC would also be a MC, which isn't the case.
