Anyone else getting "A serious error has occured"

My past 2 saves have been ruined as I keep getting the error message "A serious error has occured". The game then quits and no crash dump is saved. When I reload the save I get the message again at some point.

I am just trying to pin point if this is a common problem, if not it's probably something on my system causing it.

Also, can a 3rd party skin cause this, I'm currently using the Flex skin.

yeah i got it a few hrs ago... restarted game and its been ok since...

yes i have just got the problem. Have run the game three times from last saved point and got the same crash at the same point.

upload your save game to the FTP in the Bugs forum to help the SI team. Also, have a search in the Bugs Forum as they may be able to salvage your game. :thup:

it happened to me using the default skin, when i tried to load the game onto another computer!
i said that a folder 'crash dumps' had been created
