Hiya y'all,
Getting tax return soon so I am finally looking for a good laptop for work and for play. I am looking at this HP laptop with an AMD processor. I never used an AMD computer. Does it seem like it would play FM 2008 well? Would the 14.1" screen cause a problem when I play the game on Windowed mode? All help would be appreciated. Thx.

Oh also is there any difference between AMD Turion and AMD athlon? Is one better than the other?

I use an AMD Athlon 64 dual core and it works just fine. The difference between the two is that one is designed for a laptop (less performance for more mobility) but it should be fine, dual cores are good.

I had a 12'1 inch laptop screen, windowed mode don't work om my laptop

I have a 2 years old Acer Aspire with

AMD Turion(tm) 1.80 GHz
1 GB ram
ATI Mobility Radeon X700 128 mb

and I play FM with a lot of leagues with a large database and it runs quick and without problems for me. Only problem is the 16:10 (1280x800) widescreen wich makes windowed mode not to work unless you put in some commands for the exe file or whatever it is called, or change your Windows resolution to 1024x768 but that looks horrible.

umm... I think I'll try to get this laptop but the 14.1" screen thing still worries me a bit. is there anywhere that says how to play in windowed mode with a 14.1" screen? (In case i run into problems) Thanks.
