I want to make some facepacks but can't afford Photoshop and the trial has run out, does anyone know any other programs that are decent to use

I'm using Microsoft Office Picture Manager 2003 and I think it's OK.

The GIMP.
Paint Shop Pro.
Marcomedia Fireworks.
Older versions of Photoshop (if they still do trials of them).

I'd expect nearly any imaging program would work aswell (well expect for MS Paint).

You just need one that will:

- Resize images.
- Allow you to set the opacity.
- Support .png format.

Download.com should/may have several other free/trial programs.
