Hi people.

I downloaded a skin but made the stupid mistake of deleting the Read Me which in turn seemed to delete other files.

I then set this downloaded skin as my default in the Preferences menu. Then FM crashed with an error message of 'Warning - Did not find font resource: fonts/humanist 521 bd bt'

So I redownloaded the skin and extracted it to the normal folder. This time the Read Me file is there and I can see Humanist 521 in my fonts folder. However, the game still doesn't work.

I can't change the skin back because the game won't even allow me to get to Preferences.

Any help would be very appreciated.

you have to re-install dont worry you wont lose any saved games or graphics or anything, but the game will start with the normal skin after you re-install

Did you deleted the skin and try that ? after you do that it should go back to metallic skin again.

Thank you both for your help.

I reinstalled the game. It worked ok, and the new skin was on it. Unfortunately my save games won't load, but that isn't too much of a loss. I'll start a new game.

Have you reapplied the patch to your game before loading the save game?
(A patched save wont work on an unpatched version of the game)
