FxMas Remake for FM 2006?

I've had a quick look at the 05 version.

If you delete the 'settings' folder and can put up with the match header not being the right colour - this should work on 06 without problems.

There are no xml changes at all (other than to make it right handed) the game should just use the default ones files.

Thanks. I'd prefer Andersson to either confirm this or actually remake the skin, but I suppose if no developments are made within the next week, I'll have to make do with your 'solution'.

Aw, c'mon. I'd like to consider myself reasonably good with skins. I took my own time to download the skin, look at the files and make a judgement because it seemed like no one else was bothered.

You make it sound like a last resort rather than a working solution from someone actually trying to answer your plea.

Check out the chameleon and wraparound skins from FM2005 if you want to see if radestock is capable of providing a working solution. Are we gonna be seeing another skin from you for FM2006 at some point, radestock?

Sorry if my response gave the wrong impression.

Don't get me wrong, I hugely appreciate your co-operation - especially considering nobody else has seemed remotely interested - but I do hope you understand my reasoning. I'm sure if you were in my position, you'd prefer the 'real thing' as opposed to a 'makeshift' answer. This could be said for any given thing, and skinning is no different. 'Solution' was probably the wrong word to use in my last post, as it makes me seem ungrateful. However, I've spoken to Jesper (Andersson) and he said it's 'very unlikely' a proper remake will be done.

So, I'll be very happy using your method and look forward to testing it out. I'll let you know how it goes mate. :thup:

Just what I said - it is not the right colour. It is the standard grey rather than the red colour the rest of the skin is.
