Default England v Brazil

Did anyone else on here go to the England game on friday? I was amazed by the new stadium and the atmosphere at times was very good inside. Its just a shame that the team on the pitch cannot match the environment in which they played.

Unfortunately it was a very poor game that did not fit the occasion of the new stadium. Brazil played within themselves and England put in a usuall bore display. After hearing Mclarens comments after the match I really wonder if he watches the same game as the fans.

"We got the performance, against a very, very good team, one of the top teams in the world," said McClaren.

We did not play well against a very under strength and Brazil team who did not seem to bothered.

I hate to say it but Frank Lampard should be dropped he did nothing and his first touch was awful at times, Frank Lampard in an England shirt is about as useful as a chocolate teapot. Michael Owen sould be returned to the bench as should Smith Crouch has to start on wednesday and so should Dyer as he along with Cole can give us good width.

What does anyone else think the line up should be against estonia?

The atmosphere was crap!!!

If it wasn't for the Brazilians i probably would have heard the noise of Engalnd scraping the bottom of the barrel as you gave Jeramine "modern day Nicky Butt" Jenas a game.
