They usually announce something is on its way, but never give a date. we just havent had a definate yes or no to if its coming or not

Very much wrong actually.
FM2006 is coming out on XBOX 360 and PSP very vry soon. They are concentrating on that and obviously bugs or other related stuff soon after their releases will then get the priority treatment for a short while. Then they need to start developing FM2007 aswell pretty soon. Sometime between March-April they would need to start that.
So no time for a Data Update I am affraid to say ...

FM is coming out on the 360 and psp soon, so? Who is concentrating on that? The coders? They dont make the database, do they? They arent the researchers.
Wouldnt the 360 and psp need up to date data? Why couldnt this be made available for the pc as well?

Im not saying that the 360 and psp database is compatible with pc, but the data is being collected, so why not make a nice gesture to your fanbase by releasing an official data update, something many people, including myself, would very much appreciate..

So why don't make a db update for PC too ? :p (psp is surely different from PC but I think XBOX is quite similar...)
