Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

I would go for the super attacking than the super defensive.

As they say the best form of defence is attack and there is nothing wrong with the old Ossie Ardiles mentality of you score 3 we score 4

You would have to wake your fans up to tell them the season is over if that was the case

would make it easy to make a swift ton down at the bookies though

I find defending to be an art ust like attacking.
probably because you play as a defensive player IRL perhaps? my job on the pitch is a goalscorer, so give me matches with goals, goals, goals anyday.

the thing is, if every match that i played on FM was guaranteed to have at least 6 goals in it, then i reckon i'd get a better record over a season than if every game only had 2 or 3.

i must admit, i'm very much in the kevin keegan mentality of playing football, although that usually translates onto FM by me creating a ridiculously attacking tactic which gets lots of shots, but still no goals.

oh, and i conceed about 3000 a match, or something like that.

oh well, i tried!
