Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Player retraining.

Hi.
If i set a player to retrain, does his existing positions that he's natural/accomplished/competitant at get affected?
The reason is, im thinking of retraining some of my players so their more versitiles. For example, i'd like it if i could make it so RaulGarcia could play any forward position rarther than just central, or make it so Kompany can play LB/LWB.

Thoughts?

If you only play a player in his new retrained position, he will drop his effectiveness in his old position but only by small amounts.

So if i retrain for one position, they lose some stats off their natural position, but if i replayed them at their natural for a while, they regain the stats?

Thats good to know then.
That the 'natural' positions will never be affected.

Thanks everyone.
