i'm managing chelsea and half way into a successful season. My training regime is fantastic and really helps develops youngsters (with the tutoring of more experienced players). Although my coaches are a little bit drab...so i got some...from spain, germany and even one from the Czech Rep. for my first choice goalie Cech.
The best tips i can give on getting coaches are:
1) Ask your most experinced players to recommend coaches.
2) NEVER under-estimate the JOBS BOARD! Get some adverts going for vacancies.
3) Try to employ a memeber of staff who is of the same nationality as your players in different positions. (eg: if you have loads of FRENCH players in your midfield, then get a FRENCH coach who you will assign to your midfielders!)
4) In some preiods of the game, you may be waiting about 11 days for your next fixture. This doesn't happen often...but when it does, assign all your FIRST TEAM (not Res. or youth, because they may have a game!), to REST for 2 to 3 days. It will perk them up a bit and applaud you for considering a break. ((This works well is you have a hevy season of about 50 to 55 competitive games!)
All in all, as the other suggested, filtering out staff attributes is the best way to find coaches, but dont forget to bear these few tips in mind.
Happy gaming and good luck with your team in the New Year!
