Well, the season after the one above, I finished 2nd again, but this time successfully won through the play-offs.

Well done on the promotion.. second time lucky eh?

I must say that I'm really impressed with this tactic. I'm currently playing with a very poor Ashton Utd in the ECN. Using a 4-1-2-1-2 formation I started the season brightly but soon managed to slip to mid-table obscurity.

Anyway, since I've been using this tactic (with some minor tweaks to the CBs) I've managed to win five games out of five and move up to 4th place.. racking up 19 goals and conceding just 3.

Unfortunately two of my star players have just picked up 5 month injuries so I'm not sure I'll be able to keep up the good form for much longer!

Don't know if your tactic will work with the demo of FM2007 as well, but I'm going to try (and who knows...if all goes well, I will be heading to the shop to get my hands on the full game)!!

One question though: what kind of MC's do you use? Naturally, ideally you would want to play with MC's. But what if you would have to choose between a player who can play in MC and DMC and a player who can play in MC and AMC...
