Morale dropping in between wins- maybe training related
Gday people,
I have recently noticed that after a win my players morale will increase. However, a week goes by and the next game comes around and my players morale has dropped to the level it was before. I am currently playing with liverpool in my second season and are on top of the table. Playes morale will generally go up to superb after a win but then drop to very good after a week. It cant be performance related because I am winning. Perhaps it is common, I do not know. Has anyone else experienced this? One possible explanation I thought of was that my players were unhappy with traing schedules but in most of the schedules the players state they are happy with there current schedule. Can anyone offer some explanations as to why this may be happening? Or is it happening to you aswell?
Cheers!

Moarale in this game is still flawed IMO. Like you, I cannot understand how it can fluctuate so much for no apparant reason and appears to drop between game. A couple of good wins always helps though.

Not sure why its happening, but use Player Interaction to give morale a boost. There's a bit on Minimum Fuss's thread about how to issue praise (or otherwise) based on performance - try that out.

Its not flawed at all, it depends on the condtin they finish a game with and what you say to the media etc. It all as a factor.I dont suffer with morale loss, so I suggest people look at their traning schedules and media approaches between games.

I don't think there's much wrong with morale in the game, it does a realistic job tbh. For example, you get hammered at home and you should expect decent to poor morale across the board, and vice versa. Also if one of your strikers has a poor game, misses loads of sitters etc, then it may be the case that he suffers a dip in morale.
I see what you're saying about the dip during the week, EG from Superb to Very Good. If you look at it from a different angle, it is very difficult to maintain superb morale unless you are overacheiving, are in a good run of form and so on. Fair enough if you've just won promotion, even when the media prediction for you was much less than this, hence you've overacheived on a large scale and your players will experience a massive morale surge.
You should also notice that players that aren't regulars in your first team should have different morale values compared to those that actually play week in, week out, which is realistic.

I do also experience the same thing - after a win morale goes up to Superb for most of the involved player, but before next game it lowers to "Very Good" even if I do not say anything to media. Bu I don't think it is training related or flawed, there should be another explanation. One explanation might be - people train with lower morale team mates (those who did not play in last game), they have personal life, they expect you to keep team spirit by saying something to the media, etc, so morale is adjusted a little during a week. If you say something to the media, morale will go up and down for some players, so you still can have Superb morale before the game if playing wise.

The media interaction is a very vague thing. When I say we can win the game if we play to the best of our ability, some players feel that we can win games easily, while others are fired up. I don't think any real life player will expect to take things easy if I say that we are capable of winning if we play well. If I say I will eat my hat if we lose or something, they might, even though I am not very sure
