I think there may be a serious error with training in this game
Im not a "moaner" far from it !
However i have been playing for 10-15 seasons now and i have noticed a pattern. with training.I have used many of the "top downloaded training schedules" with diff teams ranging from teams with the best facilites to teams with the worst and teams in the middle of the scale. However a patter has developed with every team, and with every trainging schedule downloaded,no matter how good IMO.Basically when you implement your new training you have a honey ave honeymood period of about 3 months, all players stats going up^,you win 5-10 games 2-0,3-0,3-1,etc in a row, your invincible, then all of a sudden 2-3 months down the line the training starts dieing of with 90% of your players stats dropping, and fast !.Then you go on 15-20 games runs with loads of draws,1-0 losses and the odd freak win,say 2 or 3 in a 20 game stretch,i have been about 10 teams using diff schedules, mainly the most downloaded, including one with over 20,000 downloads from a certain site and this same cycle happens over and over again.I think if it was possible to have "cheat training in this game" even that would become a victim to the error with all stats dropping off.
This is a error IMO in the code of the game.Anyone else had similar experiences ?

I've been using the same training technique for about 20 odd seasons now and although the players stats do drop down a few times, it does average itself out during the course of the season and the players stats will start raising again.
The best technique for training I have found is not setting one for different positions but having all the players (except keepers) having a broad/variety of training eg setting them to medium on everything except goalkeeping.

I dont believe that the problem you're having with going on a losing streak has anything to do with your training. This looks to me like you're using the same tactic all season and what will happen is as your reputation changes teams will play differently against you.
For example, if you're not a great team and are predicted to struggle against relegation, and you have a decent tactic that works and you go on a winning streak, you will then be seen as more of a threat by AI opponents and they will change their tactics against you to reflect this. As you win more teams will play more defensive, counter attacking football against you and what might have been working at the start of the season suddenly becomes ineffective and it's time to change to a different tactic.
I find that having a good defensive counter attacking tactic and an attacking tactic that you can switch between at various points in the season (ie when you start losing more than you have been previously) works a treat. If your the underdog team the AI is going to attack more so play defensive counter attacking and grind out results. As you become more of a threat teams will defend against you more so attack and peg them back.
If your one of the top teams any half decent tactic should keep you winning all season with little trouble.
As for the training, I usually find a bit of a dip to players stats mid/end season when more games are being played and therefore less days can be spent training but this usually evens itself out for me.
