I'm in my third season with Liverpool, right now my squad is excellant exept for my fullbacks. See last season I sold Riise and started to use Insua as my second choice left back - it worked wonders, at the end of the season Insua Av rating was 7.75 after 6 apps. But at the start of this transfer window my bid for Insua was accepted of course but he didn't get a work permit - it was turned down So then I moved for Rafinha thinking seeing as he's got 5 caps it should get a work permit no troubles... so after negoteations with Gelsenkirchen we agreed on a transfer fee - 21 million but what happened - he was resufed a work premit, so right now I'm appealing that decision but it doesn't look promissing. It's really starting to **** me off and I know the EPL are stricter when it comes to signing South American players - compared to Seria A or La Liga but I'm in my third season and arter reading some of the squad assembled by others in the Liverpool team thread it made me unsure if I did something wrong when I tryed to sign Insua/Rafinha - and considering I had a Insua on loan/with an agreed price surely I could have signed him?

Please help me, as I'm in need of signing a quality left back and I really, really want Rafinha...

5 caps isnt really enough for a WP, i think you have to play around 70% of the countries last 20 games of something irl.

You could try offering him the contract with him being a key player.

If that doesnt work, try getting Zaccardo.

well you said you sold riise, so ill assume that u want a left back. rafinha isnt a LB nor is zaccardo

there are other decent options for LB, like Manuel Pasqual, Mattia Cassani and Giorgio Chiellini all of whom are Italian so they dont require permits.

theres also Antonio Puerta (R.I.P. <3 ) who can play anywhere on the left and ofcourse Gareth Bale and Leighton Baines.

so quite a few choices, hopefully they are available for decent prices in third season.
