I've just downloaded miniscout and i started to look at some players with a PA over 190. I'm in season 2016-17 so theres mostly regens on that list. I found a regen whos got a PA of 199, hes 20 years old and his current ability is 140ish. My scouts and assistant manager on the other hand all say that hes someone i should avoid signing... who should i trust in this case? My best scout has a 20/20 in judging PA and CA and he also agrees that they would be crappy signings

Had the same problem mate, don't understand it really, i found some regens by searching -19 leagues of various countries, i looked at the value and there were some real gems, so i send my scouts at them (also have 20/20) and they say don't sign or decent only once good signing, couldn't believe it so i downloaded miniscout myself and did a check and they were all above 180, so to conclude i didn't listen and tried to sign them, they didn't want to come but still i tried

trust your own judgement or rather Miniscout.
AI scout will advise you not to sign them mostly because they are unproven or having really low reputation.
but once you bring them into the league and they start performing the AI scout report will change especially if given correct training and getting good rating for 30-40matches

Thanks alot for the help! Guess i'll go sign those guys then But I must say PA on players isnt the most important at times, had Alexis Sanchez playing as a right winger, had a CA on around 150, PA 155 (i think) and was voted the best player of the year, 7.9 rating, 15goals and 27 assists.
