Half way through my 3rd season and pool old Rio isn't playing half as well as he used to. I think his 30yr old legs are starting to give up on him so i'm gonna look for a replacement at the end of the season. Should get around 40mil for transfer budget so you do you think i should get?

I've been looking at Zapata (Or whatever his name is lol) but they're not looking to sell him and Madrid are hot on his tails too with more money than me at this moment. And we all know Real don't play fair in the transfer market.

Any other ideas for replacements? I bought Terry from Chelsea as a short term cover for him. (He wanted to leave and they offered him to me for 10mil) I'm looking for a world class defender who is the finished product at around 25 if possible. I can't be doing with training a 18yr old in that spot cause they make too many mistakes for a first team spot - you know i'm right lol.

i would go for good old Micah Richards. who else are you playing in centre. pique and vidic should be good enough together! try and steal johan djourou from arsenal

Arturo Vidal is another awesome player. but thse might be too young for you. personally i would go for Breno if you can get him. or Domenico Criscito.

Sergio Ramos prob around the right age and immense, but will cost a bomb!

or theres always vicent Kompany, David, David Luiz, Ezequiel Garay, Raul Albiol.

but try your luck at Zapata and go for breno!

Whenever I play as them I go for Garay and he does brilliantly for me with Vidic, Also a top player with Zapata!

Yea i'm man utd and the fans will not like it if i sign Richards, they've already told me lol.

I sold Pique to Lazio in 1st season for 7mil, he never turns out that good for me. Still got Vidic at CD, Zacardo in RM and Sakho in left with Evra as his support.

Lol, i bought Arturo Vidal in my first season, he looked great and he's turned out pretty good for DM support with Hardgreaves, he kept him out the team for 3 months till he broke his leg lol.

I've shown interest in Kompany but he didn't want to leave Barca, i should have snapped him up before he moved. Milan Stepanov looks good. I'll take a peek at those you've all suggested! Thanks

I gave him a go in that position when Rio was out for a while and he got a 5-6-5-7-6 Thats really not the sort of performance I want and poor old Vidic was running all over the place covering him when he messed up
