Hi all. im trying to get some young british defenders (rb, lb, cb) for my villa team in season 1. Bearing in mind that ive already got Davies and richards isn't interested in a move.

I desperatly need a rb and lb who could play as back up as im very thin in that area of the park

They can be english, scottish, welsh, or either irish, just as long as they've got alot of potential!

jonny evans.im an utd and in 2009 now and his stats have improved well bearing in mind i only played him 15/20 games a season in all comps. you can probably get him for around £4m and he can play all across the back (DL/DC/DR). plus theres Bale,lescott(he's not too old lol),Dan Gosling(got him n he's inproving well),Danny Simpson,Steven Taylor

Nedum Onouha is ok, but you'd have to develop him over the first season so that he comes good in the second. Second season on my City save he has Tackling 19, Heading 19, Marking 18 and all his physical stats are amazing.

RB: Alan Hutton is good. Nedum Onuoha develops into a very good player. Justin Hoyte is decent and cheap. Tony Hibbert is good too. Very solid defensively. Mancienne develops into a brilliant CB and plays well at RB too. Ryan Taylor although dont like him personally.

LB: Leighton Baines, Wayne Bridge & Joleon Lescott are all good here and are very much starters. Nickey Shorey as well. If you want a very good LB who's extremely cheap as well get Matt Hill from Preston. He's doing a great job for me at Derby. :thup:

im currently updated the game on editor, so huttons just gone to spurs, evans is on loan at sunderland and goslings at everton.

baines has only just joined everton on the game so doubt ill get them to sell, bridge turned me down so i might try for lescott and bale.

does onuoha play well as a RB? if so then he is a must!
