Ok, the first thing you need to do is forget all the fancy formations and go back to a regular 4-4-2. Seeing as you conceded 4 goals, you defence obviously needs some help. Gelson Fernandez is poo in defence so get him out of DM.
Ok, firstly the defence. Shouldnt have sold Micah (unless the board did it for you?). Get Srna out and put Garrido in. The rest are fine.
DM - You dont have any decent ones but I'd put Sun Jihai as he's pretty solid defensively.
CM - Put Matias Fernandez here with an arrow to AMC maybe.
AMR - Elano
AML - Petrov
ST - Bianchi & Thiago/Vassell
Just give Fernandez a free role in the centre and give the others normal instructions. No complications. Let you DM be completely defensive. That formation should get you goals and be reasonably safe at the back.
Else, pack your midfield with players. You seem to be much stronger in the middle so just play with Bianchi upfront as a TM and have him hold the ball up. Same as above, but put Michael Johnson in the side instead of Thiago. Dont over commit your team. Play a little more defensive when away to a hard team and maybe a little more open at home. Just keep it simple and let your team get some confidence back.
