I've bought him on several games, usually right at the start, for between £150k + £350k.
I just bid straight away, for his value (which varies by the above amounts in each game). Offers always accepted, and he always wants £1,400 per week as a "youngster".
Never encountered any difficulty signing him.

I guess it depends on pre- or post patch, and also what version of the patch. I recently switched from beta patch to official patch 8.0.1, and now I can't afford to buy Stancu or Torje anymore. I've noticed differences in other bargain signings as well. Previously cheap DL Sepsi has gone up and MC/AMC/AML Miehlic too.
If everyone in the thread would have specified patch/pre patch/patch version, we would get a better idea. Not everyone knows though.

I have the latest patch and got Stancu for £120km I think it was, no add on or % of next sale. I'm Bristol City by the way.
Never had a problem with getting him on FM08.

got him for £120k no sell on clauses, about a fortnight into the first pre-season as Hartlepool in League 1. Use an unpatched game btw. He scored my fourth against Hull away in LC
