Ok, try Matt Hill. He starts at Preston. He's pretty good defensively. Not the greatest around but good enough. Else Joleon Lescott from Everton can play there as well. Matias Cahais can play on the left too.
Phillip Lahm is FB if he's willing to come. Marcell Jansen is pretty good too. Clichy, Chiellini, Adriano (Sevilla), Miguel Torres, Arturo Vidal, Baines, Bale are some others.
It's now the January window in 2011 and he's not willing to discuss contract terms as he's waying up his options. His contract expires end of June 2011.
If he's not willing to discuss a contract then forget it, he wont sign. Just keep checking after every 7-10 days if he's willing to sign. When he is, just offer him whatever he wants really.
