Probably obvious but what stats should i look for?

Acceleration
Finishing

What else? and what players would be best for a premiership side (spurs at moment, got defoe n bent)

Esstential: pace, acceleration, finishing, composure, dribbling.
Help a lot: Off the ball, balance, anticpation, agilty, stamina, technique, "places shots" PPM.
Good but not esstential: Stregth, heading, work rate, long shots, "moves into channels" PPM.

Anything else is a bonus.

Good players? Go to "search", and filter players with at least 15 for the esstential stats and 12 for the helpful ones. if you don't get many results remove the filters for the helpful ones and lower the esstential ones to 15.

One or other of strength or technique is very good. But off the bal and composure are pretty essential.

I always have one brave and determined striker, to fight his way to rebounds.
