it is 2008 and i have been managing red star, yugoslavia for the 6 virtual years now... teams reputation went from national to world wide, after doing well in CL we are now first seeds for the competition and yugoslavian league is now on high 6th place in uefa ranking despite beginning around 20th place.
Due to sales of players and competition money, our balance is now on £40 mil, our transfer budget is £22 mil and the total wage budget slowly rose to £350,000 p/w... all this was achieved on the max wage that ranges from miserable 4700 p/w to even worse 4000 p/w for the key player, and has hardly changed at all from the beginning of the game, even though i am using only 100,000 p/w of the overall budget...
Also despite the above achievements of the club as well as the rise of the league, the attendance on a 50,000 big stadium hasn't changed at all from the start and season average is under 10,000 a game, even in the semi finals of CL it hardly goes above 20,000 (by the way do you have any idea how many people would be on that game if that ever happened in a country that has at least 4 mil red star supporters thirsty for the success of the past when this club used to win CL? not 3 such stadiums would be enough to fit everyone who would want to attend)...
even so i have reached the finals of the CL to play Inter (whose max wage for the key player allowance is £110,000 p/w which is more than my whole teams of 70 people together, although the rest of the stats are pretty much the same, meaning: reputation, seeding, transfer money, balance), only to find out that a half of my squad has been called for an international game on european national and was not able to attend the FINALS OF CL...
I took it as a man and settled for second place however unlikely it would be for such a development of things in reality! But when i started new season and absolutely nothing changed with attendance, season tickets, merchandising, tv revenues, sponsorship, max wages, willingness of other clubs to buy players with better stats then Michael Owen's for even half the price, inability to hold on to foreign players who are absolutely crucial for the clubs success because i can not offer them a bigger wage, inability to attract the other foreigners to come to yugoslav league despite it's strong position on uefa's ranking, inability to get any top players due to the the low max wages i can offer them, I had enough and resorted to writing you this!!!!
Is not enough that we and similar countries are discriminated against in real life, but i now have to put up with this ignorance in a game too??? And even if I do every possible thing to ensure success nothing works?!!? Why did you at all introduce other leagues at all, if you are not going to make it possible for all of them to succeed equally? you should have stuck to the English ones with highly overrated players with insanely high stats (maybe to compensate for the real life failures and win a cup or two virtually if you can't do it in reality)
Moreover i have payed £35 for this piece of software and i deserve a well thought out game, that is gonna reward me for my efforts accordingly and not frustrate the life out of me with thousands of bugs, faults and miss-concepts it contains!
I expect the above to be addressed or else it is pointless to play on!!
