There's no suggestion it's an LLM game, Taips. That'd have to be understood from the off.
The reasoning behind allowing an online thread in here is twofold:
1) Online gaming seems to be the way ahead for CM, according to "those in the know". EMA is a long running online Clan and they start in the Conference, which to me gives a good chance for an introduction to online gaming for LLaMas.
2) There's been a lot of talk over the years about starting an LLM Online game. For various reasons it hasn't worked, not least being the interpretation of LLM. For instance, you, me, Craig and Muss could happily join up in a game knowing that we play pretty much the same LLM way, whereas the guys that constantly question, discuss and dissect LLM guidelines to make it easier for themselves would always be looked at warily by the four of us. Look at what happened with bell's Clan. It very quickly became rather less than "pure".
As such we'd need about 20 online games with a variety of guidelines to appease the various LLM Factions.
Starting an online game knowing full well that LLM guidelines are not uppermost in the minds of other players doesn't necessarily mean that a LLaMa would have to compromise his principles, and it would be interesting to see how a LLaMa would do pitting his wits against a "normal" CMer.
That was my thinking behind it, but the decided lack of interest so far would suggest that LLaMas have a moral fibre I'd only dreamed they had
