I would load a game with countries that are not footballing powers. Try Belgium, Finland, Hungary, Switzerland, Slovakia, etc. It's especially difficult to improve your world reputation with clubs from these countries, but eventually you can break through once you get to the top flight and can start winning matches in the CL or UEFA.

I have a career game planned for EP4, basically I'm picking the leagues that I'd like to have a crack at, while making a sort of story out of it...

Ie, I plan to start in Yugoslavia, build my way up high enough to secure a move to Brazil (which will be my nationality)... before returning to Europe many years later to play in Holland, and then becoming the conferences first Brazilian manager...

Squeeze in some international coaching and you've got a good 30 year game there.

I'm not an expert but I think choosing both a league with one division and a team considered as the Man United of Singapore kind of defeats the point of lower league management.

I play basketball for Home united though....

Yup, I fancied starting in Yugoslavia, but I was also inspired by jraldous Brazilian epic of a few months back, plus I've never managed in Holland or the Conference before...

I find it best to select none of the leagues on full detail because the game automatically sets the league you're playing in to full detail. (i think)

Well, i'm really new in this one, but me as well, i plan to start career in Yugoslavia, but not still sure which other country/ies to load. And it's almost sure that the team i'll start with will be Radnicki Pirot. The reason is - this is the closest team in CM4 to my home town - Sofia, Bulgaria. And the parents of my father were (god bless their souls) from a small town even closer - near the border with Serbia. There are and other things to mention about Pirot, but it would be pure history and i don't wanna bother u all with it.
