Bah. If you're happy with onboard sound/video, and you've already got a decent monitor, you can build one through Aria for £206 (1.8ghz processor, 512mb SDRAM, DVD, 40gb hard disk, etc) More than enough to play CM4

Just checked out the website...some bloody good deals there! Are they reliable enough though? Scan look pretty decent as well, you can buy a barebone system for £100 or so, and add whatever you need. Why did no-one tell me about these sort of deals before?

Just to think that I ended up forking out $2500 aussie dollars just to get a new machine so i could run Sim City 4...then eventually CM4

Seriously, I've bought bits from Aria before, and they are excellent. Never had any problems. My mate's just ordered one of their own PCs (a 2.4ghz with a gig of RAM) and it's as sweet as anything!

The PC I priced above was based on a combo motherboard which had the 1.8ghz processor, 256mb RAM, and onboard sound/video for £88 (inc Vat) link here
