I have never ever been able to loan a premiership player. I tried it 3 or 4 times in the past (as a Div 3 side) and was turned down, and so I never bother trying any more. But as you said, some AI teams somehow manage to arrange these loans.

Played as an English manager and was out in hong kong, loaned 2 english third div players and ended up with 2 players far better than the rest of my team.

looking back this was neither llm ethos or realistic. at the time was ok with it,
yes the wages were comparable, and a yongster who is not getting any games in the thrid may seek a game where ever he can get it, but at the end of the day it stuffed up my llm approach to my current game.

My only defence was it was the only way to get out of that god forsaken place without re-starting.

I've never been able to loan a player from the Premiership or D1 to a Conference side. I don't think I've even been able to get a D2 player loaned to my Conference side.

I beleive that it is ethical to take Premiership players to the conference on loan. IRL my own side, Hyde United - Unibond League, took two lads from Leeds for 3 months last season. Obviously, they were still training daily at Leeds and just came down to get some games under their belts so Leeds payed all of their salaries.

I don't however beleive it would be ethical to take first team premiership players to the conference but I don't see the problem in taking reserve or youth team players down to the conference as it does happen in reality.

Of course you wouldnt get first teamers wanting to spend their time in the lower leagues. Youth players looking for experience, maybe and i dont see that been a problem, but theres no naming players in here hyde fella.
