As far as LLM in CM4 will go, it will always be limited by the oh-so many uncountable bugs. Those little nitty-bitty bi*ches will just pull you back down to earth and slap you hard in the face, all the while reminding you: "You think you're the winner? No! Haha you for such a fool, this is only a game!'
CM players are just mainly divided into those who crave for the realism of the game, no matter how far apart it is to burning your ass in the game and on a Sunday morning. Others go for the tried and tested glory with Real Ma**** or Manche***. once anybody blurs the line between such preferences, it would become clear that all CM players, ALL takes this as a game and an opportunity to test themselves.
My point is, it probably wouldn't matter how one plays the game, be it LLM or the Madrid way. It could be harsh into getting people *SLAPPED* just because they share a different opinion of how the game should go.
Just to remind as well, equating and comparing the game's areas with real life, doesn't pretty much add up as well. All of us, anyone in fact, would work their ass off just trying to understand the Training area in CM. No disrespect, but I really do think Lyssien did a great job in analysing the training prospects. What he did not realise, maybe, is that what he's really doing is just trying to crack the program code that SI had written.
Even with playing LLM, whether or not you go over and get Lyssien's help, is just the question or preference of leaving the toilet seat up or down after use.

axl_gold,
First of all thank you for your comments on my work.
I did realize that my experiments would give me more information than I needed, but I ended up running them anyway. I did this because I had questions about training that nobody would answer, and I believed (and still do) that the CM4 gamer should have more answers on Training than what was provided.
I wish there was a way to find the answers to my questions without resorting to such an in-depth work on Training. If there was one, I never found it.
By the way, I don't think that the guys in here flamed me too badly. They expressed their opinions giving arguments, and I am thankful that they took the time to do so. The same goes for you. |

You may perceive this as being taken out of context, I don't believe it is though.
If you're saying that I can go and ask Lyssien for help with training and still be playing the game the LLM way, then I've got a problem. I've been playing the game the LLM way for some time now and as far as I remember tactical tipping is deemed somewhat on the darker shade of grey.
"but it's not tactical tipping we're dealing with here"
I easily imagine someone coming up with that response, however, I wont try to explain how much of a brain one would need to see the similarity.
No, I'm not saying that you or anyone else lack the mental capaity to figure that out.

Again, donald, you have to understand that my saying of asking for Lyssien's help, is simply goving over to the threads he started, and try to devour every possible information, which is, a lot, considering it spans over 8 pages. (not physically mssge him, and call for SOS on stuff, that must have been weak)

Nobody here is doubting the validity of his work. Not having CM4 I allowed myself the luxury of having a quick skim (to help me respond more appropriately in this thread), though I certainly didn't actually read anything in depth and can't remember a word of it.
Lyssien has been nothing if not thorough. But that is precisely the problem. It is no more valid to read, digest, and adopt Lyssien's reccomendations than it is to download a super tactic that someone has spent time testing and refining.

Couldn't agree more Mkus. LLM is DIY, you just got to try different things and see if they work, if they don't well always remember "Failure is simply postponed success" |

Rekwob's reply pretty much says it all, but let me spell it out. From an LLM point of view that would still be illegal, in other words, NO.
Having said that, people should feel free to use his research as they see fit, as long as they don't claim to play the game the LLM way.
This reply may seem pointless considering Rekwob's, but still, I don't think this kind of stuff can be said too often.
