Rep Power: 0 | Advice needed for new LLM manager
After guiding my Juventus team to 4 years of domestic and European glory with the cream of the worlds footballers on my books, I decided to start a new LLM game for a new challange. The Frankl Llama random team generator gave me San Marino to manage, a team I have apsolutely no knowledge about, nor about its players. So my question for all you experienced LLM managers is how do you determine which of the players are neccessary and which are a liability, what your team's strenghts and weaknesses are, which tactic to play, who to buy and who to sell. The questions would be easily answered fi I knew anything about the team I'm about to lead for the next few years (or at least until a better job is offered to me).
So please tell me: How do you get to know a team you've never heard anything about?

The same way a real manager would do, playing friendlies and observing them in training (the latter is somewhat limited in CM but I usually ask for the opinion of my coaches).

I find it useful at the start to get my assistant manager to pick my players for friendlies. this will give you some ideas, but at the end of the day he will never be as good at picking them as you should be, so just use this to start you off.

Thanks a lot (althought I could have and did figure out all this by myself )
I've just found out that I have a transfer budget of 0 €, a balance of 100.000 € and am expected to fight bravely from relegation in Serie C2B...
Let the fun begin...

Yeah, but it's not easy winning 14 trophies in 4 years with Juventus at one moment and trying to save San Marino from relegation In Serie C2B the other. Thanx anyway.

Mock if you will, but I'll bring euro success to San Marino in a few (10-20) years!
