Okay so I downloaded EP5 and started my new Career with good old Leigh RMI. For some stupid reason I clicked on Full details when setting the game up. Now that was a huge mistake. after about 2 hours I have managed to play only 3 matches and got so bored of it I quit the game. I just didn't have heart to kick it off again without the full details..... Have the EP's drained me of my will to live..... well no not quite ..... Have the EP's drained me of my will to play ..... well at the moment yes..... Forgot to pack CM4 for my week away at work. Normally this would have brought me out in a cold sweet, now it cost me about 2 seconds thought.

I'm just all CM'ed out .... anyone know a cure (okay so I know what all the devotees of 01/02 will recomend ).

I started a game in Finland (in 01/02) a few months ago that relieved some of the boredom - I liked the short seasons and found the whole thing pretty enjoyable.

I think the problem with this in CM4 would be a nightmare to slog through the 6 month off season, but maybe playing a 'light' save game with just one league loaded would be the answer.

I just keep going back to it and play half an hour here and there.

OK so I work in scholls and have now got 6 weeks off which Give me some serious game time, but I do have a wife and baby who take up time.

I just go on when I can and when I is running through other games just do something else.

Don't give up the rewards are there If you stick at it.

You'll be pleased to know that the plan is for EP5 to be the last EP for CM4...

And 3 matches in 2 hours slow ?? Maybe I'm taking my time getting into it but I've played 5 matches in 8 hours !! PC's not to shabby either...

I have no problems with speed at all, full detail, 18 leagues, the game is almost as quick as CM3.

I agree, and from comments I've heard this also happens with world-class defenders, so it's not just because our players are shìte. The second most annoying thing is that man-marking still doesn't work, it makes no bloody difference if you let people man-mark or not.

I've long given up watching extended stretches of 2D because it's just so darn annoying to see these thick players doing 50 yard backpasses or failing to pick up a ball they could easily get. Highlights are ok because you only see the parts that led to a scoring chance.

Highlight the part where I say I've got six weeks off now to give me some serious game time! half an hour here and there would be nice while i was at work, but leaving it on all day as a weekend/ holiday solution for me.
