I successfully got sacked from the Ukranian national side after successfully taking them to 3rd place in the qualification group for the World Cup.

This question is obviously aimed at the literate types, like Uncle Ian, who are sometimes seen around here.

Is the header grammatically correct?

Should it read an Ukrainian, instaed of a Ukrainian?

A Ukrainian sounds right but looks wrong.
