I just started a new game on CM 00/01 with Doncaster in the Conference. I've been reading this forum for a while, but I can't say I've ever seen them mentioned.
Is anything wrong with them? Can anybody tell me anything about them?

They're probably considered one of the better Conference teams, so that might explain the lack of other people playing as them.
Certainly nothing wrong with them, but the real vintage Doncaster challenge was back on CM97/98.  | |

Thanks for the link! I like to know something about the teams I manage when I start a game...
I found out I had 750k in transfer funds :eek:, so I thought it might be one of those teams that are considered too good for LLM.
Then I tried an interested staff search and both scouts and physios turned up 0 results... so I guess I'm in the right place! | |

Just found out on the website:
"The Club do not condone the actions of (starting DC), who was arrested over the weekend for public disorder, and will be taking action against him using the clubs own internal disciplinary procedures. The club frown on such irresponsible actions by any of their players, management or staff and will take all necessary action to stop this happening again. The Rovers player has apologised for his actions and said that it won't happen again."

Is he the D C or one of their fans?! When they came to Stoke for the Conference play off final against Dagenham their fans caused all sorts of trouble, and the Dagenham fans were as good as gold. The Daggers fans were saying that the Donny fans are like that wherever they go and the Conference will be glad to see them gone on that score.

My first ever LLM challenge was with Doncaster Rovers. I only picked them because they have the 'Rovers' name - I hardly knew a thing about any of the conference teams.
They are an above average side.
