Hmm, I'm slightly concerned by this. I've seen it mentioned before slightly odd ratings, but I just beat Southampton 7-0... and their keeper got an 8. Now, I dont quite think letting in 7 is 8 territory... the rest of the team all got 3s, 4, 5 type ratings, but 8? Seriously? My own keeper got an 8 too despite them having 0 shots on target - so he literally never had a save to make. Was his passing accurate then? Or why does he deserve a higher rating for that than he does for keeping a clean sheet at Old Trafford?
Just seems very odd indeed, I have noticed how the ratings dont seem to quite add up for keepers to how I perceived them as playing.
I hate being one of those people who say "It happened once in real life, therefore it can happen in the game", but when Tottenham lost 7-1 to Newcastle a few years ago, our goalkeeper Ian Walker was our man of the match; it could easily have been double figures if he hadn't made some great saves.
Do you have a screenshot of the match stats? Did you have a LOT of shots on target, which, whether they were good saves or not, would have bumped up their goalkeeper's rating quite a bit.
As for your keeper, I have no answer for that. Just seems that when a team wins by a lot, all of their players get given high ratings, even if they didn't actually do anything towards the win.
