any one got any advivce on transfer dealings i seem to be paying over the top for players at least double what they are worth. how can i get a player for a resonable fee

If the player isn't transfer listed or approaching the end of his contract then unfortunately you have to be prepared to pay over the odds to land him.

You do often find players of decent ability on the transfer list, which means that you can usually buy them for less than their value as the club selling him just wants him off their books.

I sometimes find additional "incentives" can help, such as sell-on clauses or including players in the deal.

When making offers for players, you'll always note that sometimes it says the selling club is looking for, for example, a right-back, a striker.

These are good forms of leverage.
