i am just curious what you guys will learn from this debacle?
I am a loyal customer since cm 2 and i have rarely witnessed such a mess in the last years...
i really recommend you guys to release the game rather two months later next time then to release such a beta-game...i mean right now i feel like a beta-tester, but if you intend the customer to be a beta-tester then you should pay him and it should not be the other way around..
i mean havent you guys really tested the game before?
do you guys really think i will buy another football manager again before i am not sure its 100% playable?
if i at my job hand in a half finished project then i can look in the newspapers for a new job next day...
i mean you guys implemented some nice new features, but what are they worth if you cant play the game anyway?
please dont let that happen again...

what will SI learn from the 2008 debacle??? Post #2
You mean the huge selling success?
You mean the fact that huge numbers of customers are heavy addicted (I know I am)?
And if you really have to start a new moaning thread, please make it readable by using some normal punctuation. A capital here and there would be nice.

im guessing that most of the units sold before the major bugs surfaced. fact that you can buy the game for $20 means that the demand has dried up.

It's normal for prices for PC-games that they go down some months after the initial release. The same happened with FM07-06-05 etc.
That being said, it's still GBP 24.99 just as at the day of release at play.com (which is no surprise as it's still listed at their top sellers list) while cdwow only dropped to GBP 20.99.
And am I living in the only country where they do ship keyboards with a shift button?

I really don't see the debacle point, yes the game has flaws (as have all previous CM/FM titles & every other PC title), but none of them are game breaking (including the registration issue).
So far I've played 8 seasons & I'm suffering from nothing worse than a case of FM addiction.
I trust everyone who has slated the FM testing team & lives within travelling distance of the SI offices have applied for the current QA vacancy(ies) but somehow I doubt that is the case.
