I'm playing as Crystal Palace in my current game, 5th season and finished 2nd last season and 3rd season before that.
Looking to push on and start winning things soon, except Arsenal are awesome and win everything...
They did the quadruple last season, only conceded 13 goals in the league, the season before they did the double, this season they've already won the Community Shield and Super Cup.
Not complaining about it, as it will be more of a challenge to overhaul them, but have you guys ever seen an AI team dominate so much?
Not really dominate in the way Palace have on your game, but I have seen in my long term FM 2007 game various teams such as Charlton, Aston Villa and Portsmouth have a run of six or seven seasons where they are challenging for the league and usually have decent runs in the Champions League. They tend to win the League Cup or FA Cup more than any of the larger trophies though.
Sorry for double post, Also had a game running with Northampton and when we got into Championship Preston used to give us hell! think i got beat 4-0 at home and away in one season.
I came up against a Barcelona side in the Champions league with no fewer than 8! world class players, needless to say they beat my Tottenham side home and away
